Show notes

According to the 2016 Micro, Small, and Medium Establishment (MSME) Survey by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, the country has around 7.5 million small businesses creating employment for about 15 million people. However, becoming an entrepreneur can be a challenging journey.

There are dozens of reasons young people want to start their businesses. Some have lost their jobs; others want to build something for their children, while some dream of living a better life.

Regardless of the reason, the purpose of starting a business shouldn't be based on dreams alone.

To help us put this into context is James Odede, the founder of LakeHub.
